Hi Naomi,
Wow, word travels fast! I work for Sonoma County Farm Trails and already I've had three different people tell me "Roshambo Winery is turning into a farm, you should see if they want to be a member, they'd be great." So, I don't want to be a vulture here -- which is why I commented rather than filling up your voicemail or inbox -- but do let me know if it's something you might be interested in. I am also the co-owner of a small farm in Healdsburg (Foggy River Farm, http://foggyriverfarm.org ) and I can talk to you from a small farmer's perspective about the benefits and limitations of being a member of Farm Trails.
Best of luck on your new endeavor, and even if you don't end up joining Farm Trails I'd love to meet you sometime and "talk farm"! We're just over on Eastside Road growing veggies, and raising chickens, sheep, goats, and as of Wednesday 2 alpacas.

Hey, Naomi--
Love the new site. We wish you the best of luck and know you'll do great! Ah, the press (not just the Press) and their avaricious ways. Don't look back. We'll be up to see you soon, we hope--either at Weird Fish or the farm.
Carl and Camille
(p.s.--thanks for the mention in the wine club letter!)

Hey Naomi - I met you many moons ago and thought you have a lot of great energy and that people really like you.

So I just wanted to wish you all the best on your organic farm. I totally understand frustrations in the wine business and hope you find a lot of happiness in this next endeavor. Make some lemonade with those lemons!

If you are ever down on Sonoma Plaza, please drop by my shop in Sonoma sometime - we opened our own pasta and cheese shop ( La Bodega) and buy local organic produce (from Greenstring primarily) to make great food. We are also opening a kitchen/restaurant in Sebastopol soon.

take care
